Home

It is our mission to provide all dogs with the opportunity for appropriate play, rest and exercise so that each dog can return home tired, but not too exhausted to spend quality time with their families.

Whether your pooch is coming in for a play date, a puppy adventure or just a quiet visit while recovering from surgery, we pride ourselves in interacting with dogs and managing their dog behaviour by:

  • Separating dogs by size and/or play style
  • Limiting daycare attendance to allow for smaller playgroups than traditional dog daycare
  • Using positive reinforcement to build relationships with individual dogs
  • Using non-invasive and force-free tools to reduce stress

Through the use of these practices and tools and the experience of owner, director and professional dog trainer, Ayoka Bubar, Prairie Dog Daycare has been able to provide an environment that allows for the inclusion of dogs that would otherwise be unable to participate in a more traditional dog daycare environment.

If you are unsure as to whether Prairie Dog Daycare would be right for your dog, please call 204-728-3647 or e-mail info@prairiedogdaycare.com to discuss your dogs needs.

We are proud to be affiliated with Two Brown Dogs Canine Consultants and fellow professional dog trainer , Renee Will. Two Brown Dogs shares our location and offers group classes, private classes and behavioral consultations.
